WTC UFO?

I don't read Japanese, but this page seems to investigate a UFO at the WTF crash.

Elsie says that the site is indeed saying that there were UFOs at the WTC crashes.

Bacon katsu

SNOOK, Texas -- Sodolak, owner of Sodolak's Original Country Inn in this small town (population 489) about 13 miles southwest of College Station -- that's about 100 miles northeast of Austin -- serves the breaded and deep-fried bacon as one of his appetizers. For that totally brown meal, he says some people order it as an appetizer to go with their chicken-fried steak
Could bacon katsu be far behind. Hit up the full story here.

COMPAQ

Seems that the HP-COMPAQ merger may go tits-up. Maybe it's because of users who need this.

Grey poopin'

Poopmachine

To say this is odd would be an understatement. It's a little gross, too, but nothing seasoned TA readers couldn't handle. It's the poop machine. Feed the mouth and see what happens. Oh yeah, if you die, reload the page.

Pepe le Peu

Canadian researchers are developing a spray-on aphrodisiac.

Scientists at Concordia University in Montreal have been testing the nasal spray on rats.

The synthetic chemical would help trigger desire in both men and women.

Hit up the full story here.

Belly

This is just a tad bit strange ... decorating pregnant bellies.

Funky cold Hrdina

Big duck dong

From scientist who really need to get out more, read about the biggest duck dong here.

All that is hype

The Daily Show suggested it might be improved by adding two more wheels, a large compartment for several people to sit in, and an engine capable of highway-compatible speeds.
Having see what IT is, I don't think it's all that cool, maybe for land slugs. Hit up a commentary on it here.

Virtual Om

Virtual Om

This is a kind of strange visual/audio experience called Virtual Om. I suppose if you were on certain selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, this would be really neat. Lots of options to play with too.

911 mysteries

Ever hear of a rumor that dying cordless phones dial 911 spontaneously? Well, even if not, Snopes gets to the bottom of it.

Paintball excess

TSG1

I may have linked to paintball gun "realism conversions" before, but I don't think I've posted this exact one. The TSG-1 is based on a AT-10 paintball gun, and is modified to look like a H&K PSG1. Submitted by Mahv.

More GR reviewage; cheats

Here's another Ghost Recon review; this one actually as a cheat page.

Just in time.

Naked TV

Now from the Nakednews comes the Naked TV News show. Coming soon on pay per view.

pr0n pain

LONDON (Reuters) -- "Her hand is moving away from my knee and heading north. Heading unnervingly and with a steely will toward the pole... Ever northward moves her hand, while she smiles languorously at my right ear. And when she reaches the north pole, I think in wonder and terror -- she will surely want to pitch her tent."
Now this is just painful to read. Read about the Bad Sex in Fiction Award here.

Token sex content

Something for the guys and something for the girls.

Berry past!!!

Type R

This is f'in brilliant: Segway Type R. Serves them right for all that hype.

Also from Wherearemypants:

Laser game

This is a pretty cool Shockwave laser puzzle game. See WAMP for solution help.

Telnet Star Wars

First there was ASCII Star Wars, now Star Wars via Telnet. I can't quite figure out how to set my telnet client to make it display properly. If you can, let me know.

Moo mix

Moo mix

Someone had a lot of time on their hands, but the result of their work is nothing short of a masterpiece. Milko is a Shockwave sound/video/effects mixing board that is both highly entertaining and flawlessly executed. It features a claymation cow doing aerobics, "tai chi" or a gym workout. It really has to be seen to be appreciated.

Mister who?

I am usually not too keen on these "Which ___ are you?" type personality tests, but conceptually, this one gets the nod. The Reservoir Dogs personality test lets you know just which one you'd be. I must be lame, I'm Mr. Brown (Mr. Shit). I directed the movie, but I get shot in the head early on. Spotted on Alpine Mike's blog. He's Mr. Brown too.

What for?

Amazon has acquired what's left of ailing dotcom Egghead.com. It is temporarily redirecting traffic to a site in its electronics section until it can relaunch Egghead properly.
Yes, this begs the question, What The Hell For? Hit up the full story here.

Unforgotten

Slowpoke

Here's a neat little archive of forgotten Looney Toons characters. That's Slowpoke Rodriquez above, Speedy Gonzales' cousin, surely an "inspired" creation.

Rate my ...

This is pretty sick, but maybe someone out there might want to see it: Ratemypoo.com

Measure up

This is certainly not for work-viewing. This site has you comparing yourself to a silhouette of the infamous part of Dirk Diggler. It's actually a slick testicular cancer PDA.

Poor Montreal

MONTREAL -- Montreal Canadiens right wing Donald Audette underwent surgery to his left forearm Saturday night after receiving a deep laceration in a 3-1 loss to the New York Rangers.
Hit up the full story here. The Canadiens were benefiting from the trade that got them Audette for Martin Rucinsky; now Audette is out for 3-4 months (ouch). On the Dallas side, Rucinsky continues to prove his worth.

Tossing

TAMPA, Fla. (Reuters) -- A radio broadcaster known as "Dave the Dwarf" has sued to overturn Florida's ban on "dwarf tossing," saying he should be allowed to decide for himself whether to participate in the barroom contests.
I didn't know this was a real pastime. Hit up the full story here.

8:30AM court appearances bad.

Guy stuff

No, it's not a purse, it's a handbag dammit.

MobilePants

I've seen a lot of hardware reviews before, but this is the first one I've seen for a pair of pants.

Flash gamery

More flash games for you to waste your time on. This one is pretty cool.

Stupidity

Phoons

This is almost too dumb for words, but maybe worth a yuk or two: Phoons.com features photos of people doing the "Phoon" around the world. These people need lives. From Tef.

Misc movies

Here are a bunch of Flash toons/movies that I have not had a chance to view and therefore can't comment on. From Gspot:

Free image viewer

Here's a pretty full-featured image browser/viewer, Irfanview. Best part is it's free.

Ballin' reviews

This is a pretty good resource for paintballers: Pbreview hosts in-house and user-writted reviews of all sorts of paintball products.
