Well with just 10 days left in the regular season, the winners and losers are becoming apparent:

• The Detroit Red Wings have locked up the President's Trophy (best record in league) and a #1 playoff seed.
• The hard-luck Pittsburgh Penguins were eliminated from playoff contention in a loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. It's the first time in 12 years the Pens have missed the postseason. Better luck -- and health -- next year for the Pens.
• The San Jose Sharks took a major step yesterday toward securing the first division title in franchise history with a 5-2 victory over the immediate challengers, the Phoenix Coyotes. SJ is my pick for Cup, wishful thought it may be.
• In the East, Boston, Philadelphia, Ottawa and Toronto have clinched playoff spots; in the West, the race is so tight that spots 2-8 are still up for grabs!

So the brewmaster at Sam Adams decided to get serious and create the world's strongest beer. The product? Samuel Adams Utopias MMII. From Tef, who says: "I’ve actually had a Samichlaus beer before. It was kind of gross, like beer flavored cough syrup. I can’t imagine this."

Along the same lines as Nicotine Water comes Nicotine Lollipops, which help you kick the cigarette smoking habit ... or let you get your fix in a no-smoking zone. These things are damn expensive. From Jui.

I keep telling myself I need to sleep earlier, but I never do.
