The demise of Oahu Homebrew Supply

Oahu Homebrew is going to closing up this month for good. If anyone wants me to make them a custom batch of brew, tell me very soon. Alas, that place was too cool to last.

Since I'm the SMP fiend around here, The Register reports that the new AMD 760 chipset will support smp. I have to replace this system already, 2x350 P2 is good and all but it is becoming quite the bottom end computer now. Dual Duron, sounds like the title to a pr0n.

While I'm on this dualie trip, Thresh's Firing Squad has a review of the Matrox 450, featuring dual head technology. Dual head, are we running a pr0n site now?

After using this monitor, it is definitely the shiz if you have a lot of windows open., 19" and cheap (another pr0n reference?) So run out to Costco in Waipio Gentry and get one.

That's exactly what you think it is. A shitbomb. Last night, apparently, this site was down. And on only the second day of its existence! I am hoping dreamhost will get their shit together and get the site back up. If you're reading this, I guess they did.

Update 2:30am: Site's back up again. The shitbomb will be gone soon.

If you haven't already seen this one, check it out. Be warned that it is a rather large file (5-14MB). This is a fake trailer for Star Wars:Episode II. But it has garnered recognition even in the national press because of its quality. Even Lucas found the piece exceptional.

Canadian Scientists Clone World-Renowned Bull

QUEBEC (Reuters) - Canadian researchers said Friday they cloned a male calf from the cells of Canada's world-renowned Starbuck Holstein bull, which sired more than 200,000 cows, bulls and calves before dying in 1998.

Okay I been pushing somewhat hard the past few nights to get our baby out of the ol' mental love canal. Worked on the table a little bit, should be okay in Netscape now. Please try it and let me know if it works for you. All sections should now at least have pages in them, if a little sparse on content. That's just temporary. It's a busy work week for me so no serious coding seshes have been undertaken yet. Stay tuned.

If you've ever seen Slashdot and Stileproject before, then you're probably among those wondering about this site. Am I the only one impressed with the amount of work they put into this one?
