BIT CHAR G LINKS
Compiled by: Raul
Reviews
- The Gadgeteer's review: An early one, from this miniature electronics site.
- Slac.com's review: Kind of a badly designed site, but a good overview and
includes scanned brochures, manuals and warranty card.
Communities
- Martiniracing: One of the earliest fan sites ... not much on design but lots of great info.
This site regularly hits its bandwidth cap, so if it's down, try the Martiniracing forum. Lots of popups on
that forum (ugh) but it has one of the most active communities around.
- Microracers: Nice, clean site with discussion board and "showroom" listing
available cars.
- UK Bit Char G site: A well done UK-based site with message board, FAQ and pictures.
- TinyRC: Includes Bit Char G information, galleries, and a down-and-dirty headlight mod.
Personal/tech sites
- Bit Char USA: Good site with pictures, some videos and a good series showing
how to disassemble your Bit.
- DIY digi/propo Bit: This is a really advanced mod which involves installation of a custom
board made by this company. It allows a Bit to be controlled with a proportional (gun-style) controller.
- B-drift's Bit Char G site: Some good info and pictures of Bit Char Gs and Digi Qs.
- Bit Char G: A Japanese-language site with photos of cars, tracks and disassembly. Tuning tips if you can
read Japanese.
- Bit Char-G Grand Prix: A Japanese-language site with photos of a very nice race track and
highly customized Bit bodies.
- Light and controller mods: A Japanese-language site with
information on controller disassembly/modification and LED light mods.
Where to buy
- Toys-n-Joys: Local Hawaii shop, looks like they are expanding their
stock AND lowering their prices. I got my Bit from their store here. Recommended!
- Sigmaautomotive: Nice variety in the inventory of this
Massachusetts company.
- Matrix Collectibles: Nice variety, but a little pricey at this New York shop.
